this was one of Radiohead’s greatest albums.
Undoing some of the knotted tension of the post-Bends era, it has rollicking rockers (Bodysnatchers, Jigsaw Falling into Place) and restless jitters (15 Step, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi), but the core songs are deep, considered trip-hop ballads such as Reckoner, House of Cards and All I Need

It's a Beautiful Day is an American band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1967
Although they were one of the earliest and most important San Francisco bands to emerge from 1967's social phenomenon Summer of Love, the band never quite achieved the success of contemporaries such as Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Santana, with whom they had connections.
The band created a unique blend of rock, jazz, folk, classical, and world-beat styles during the initial seven years it was officially together.

克勞迪奧·喬瓦尼·安東尼奧·蒙特威爾第
（義大利語：Claudio Giovanni Antonio Monteverdi，1567－1643）
義大利作曲家、製琴師。出生於義大利北部克雷莫納市的他，從小就接觸聖歌等音樂教育，並在未成年即有作品面世
16世紀末，受到貢扎加家族支助下，他與宮廷歌手合作，出版了牧歌等普羅歌曲。而《奧菲歐》可算是蒙特威爾第最出名的歌劇。
蒙特威爾第被認為是古典音樂史上一位劃時代的人物，是巴洛克音樂的早期代表
他的牧歌創作是文藝復興這一時期音樂體裁的巔峰，而他的歌劇創作則是這種體裁的奠基之作
他雖不是第一個寫出歌劇的作曲家，然而他所創作的歌劇卻可以一直流傳至今日，甚至影響在後世各樂派的作曲家。

費爾南多·索爾（西班牙語：Fernando Sor，1778－1839），西班牙作曲家，以及吉它演奏家1778年生於西班牙巴塞隆納
自幼學習吉它，十九歲時在巴塞隆納上演所作歌劇
此後曾在馬德里、巴黎、倫敦、莫斯科等地演奏吉它，同時大量創作音樂作品
自1827年定居巴黎後一心研究吉它藝術。主要作品為吉它奏鳴曲、變奏曲、練習曲等
作品風格屬於典型的古典樂派，亦被稱為「吉他的貝多芬」
1839年於法國巴黎逝世。其代表作品有吉它獨奏曲《魔笛主題變奏曲》、《偉大的獨奏》、《月光》（原為《b小調練習曲》）等。

尺八原是吳地的一種木管樂器，後傳入日本
竹製，外切口，五孔（前四後一），屬邊棱振動氣鳴吹管樂器，以管長一尺八寸（約55公分）而得名，其音色蒼涼遼闊，又能表現空靈、恬靜的意境
古尺八由中國唐朝（日本的奈良時代）時開始傳入日本
尺八是豎吹樂器，用於宮廷雅樂的尺八被稱為雅樂尺八，
而現在所說的尺八一般都指代普化尺八
主要流派有「都山流」和「琴古流」。兩個流派的記譜方式略有不同。
在中世時期，主要是箏曲和地歌的曲目改編而來，多與箏和地歌的三味線合奏，成為三曲合奏。 之後產生了專門為尺八創作的曲目，成為"本曲"
除了獨奏，還有二重奏等多種形式。
明治時代之後，吸收西洋音樂的元素後，大量的現代曲目被創作演奏。
尺八的名曲有《六段之調》（與箏合奏，八橋檢校作曲），《千鳥之曲》（與箏合奏，吉澤檢校作曲），《春之海》（現代曲，宮城道雄作曲）等等。

琴弦以尼龍製作，音色柔和，可以根據適用場合的不同分為樂箏和俗箏，前者多用於演奏雅樂，後者多用於民間音樂的演奏，定調有黃鐘調等六種；
雅樂（日語：雅楽／ががく Gagaku）是日本的一種傳統音樂，興盛於平安時代，是一種歌舞樂三位一體的綜合性藝術形式，雅樂意指「雅正之樂」。樂曲以器樂曲為多，至今仍是日本的宮廷音樂
雅樂最初在奈良時代自中國及朝鮮傳入日本，隨後經模仿及融合而產生日本雅樂。不伴隨舞蹈的樂器合奏稱為管弦；伴隨舞蹈的是舞樂；

日本箏，日語寫為「箏」，偶爾寫作「琴」（但是「琴」本是另外的樂器，指「和琴」），口語經常稱為「こと」，是日本傳統音樂中一項重要的樂器，一般認為源自於中國的古箏
日本箏的長度大約180 cm，有十三根弦，弦由十三個可移動的琴柱架著，演奏者可根據需要移動琴柱的位置來調音。演奏時以拇指、食指、中指戴上撥子撥動琴弦來演奏。
最早標準的日本古箏有十三根琴弦，現今使用的基本上是十七弦箏，琴體和中國古箏基本相似，由桐木作為琴體的主要材料。

魯特琴，也稱琉特琴，是一種曲頸撥弦樂器。
一般這個詞主要指中世紀到巴洛克時期在歐洲使用的一類古樂器的總稱，在這個時期深受人們的喜愛。
在廣義的樂器分類中，把類似的樂器統稱為「魯特屬」，此時就不限於年代國別，因此吉他、中國琵琶、日本琵琶等都可以包括在內。
歐洲魯特琴上可以演奏和弦、旋律、跑句、各式各樣的裝飾音，甚至對位樂曲；它是用作伴奏歌唱的獨奏樂器，也可用於重奏中，技藝嫻熟的演奏者可以奏出多姿多采的效果。只不過較難彈奏。
據考證，歐洲魯特琴和近東的oud都源自同一祖先烏德琴。魯特琴lute和oud都派生自阿拉伯語的al‘ud，意思為「木頭」
直到15世紀末，歐洲的魯特琴才有它特有的發展，主要是由於技法的改變，人們開始使用手指彈奏，因此多聲部作品得以在魯特琴上演奏，新增了第六弦組，外型顯得修長而優雅，之前魯特琴常常用昂貴的材料製作，尺寸不一，做工精緻。
